The way of the cross demands Sacrifice...Our first instinct is to say, "wait a minute," you ask to much. That's too much sacrifice, but then we think of the cross and we realize the WAY OF THE CROSS DEMANDS SACRIFICE. Jesus' death on a cross was sacrifice. The ultimate selfless love of Jesus and of God the Father in giving God's only Son was freely offered in sacrifice.
