How it all started...
In 1816 a Methodist Protestant Missionary John Stewart arrived in the Indian village of Wyandotte and became the first person to proclaim religion in this area.
The first organized religious gathering in the new city of Wyandotte was held by the Methodists in 1855.
While today’s congregation is the historical successor of the oldest Protestant congregation in Wyandotte, it’s beginning and its present day ministries is thoroughly modern.
